Pregnancy Log: Weeks 20 & 21

How far along? 21 weeks
How big is baby? About 12 ounces, and approximately the length of a carrot
Total weight gain/loss:
  + 9 pounds  
Maternity clothes? 
Yes. 
Stretch marks? 
Nope.
Sleep: Sleep has been more interrupted than I'd like. This baby already has days and nights flip flopped! 
Best moment this week: Last Thursday was our 20-week ultrasound! The tech was really wonderful, and we got amazing pictures to bring home with us. It was so fun to get the first glimpse of our new little person. 
Have you told family and friends: Yes.

Movement: Starting to kick more. Night time is very active!
Food cravings: 
Nope. Not so hungry this week.

Anything making you queasy or sick:  I hate most strong smells. 
Other symptoms: Uh, the polite way to say it is I have slow-moving digestion, punctuated by fast-moving digestion. Yick.
Have you started to show yet: Yes. Definite bump in progress.
Gender prediction: Boy? Girl? I love receiving guesses and reasons :)
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out? 
Starting to feel more shallow.

Wedding rings on or off? 
On. 
Happy or Moody most of the time: Moody
Weekly Wisdom: Exercise makes everything better. Started water aerobics last week and am already feeling the benefits!
Milestones: I am so proud of the Bean. She has decided to start using the potty routinely and has also quit her bedtime avoidance routines.

Pregnancy Log: 19 Weeks


How far along? 19weeks,
How big is baby? The size of a "large heirloom tomato" 
Total weight gain/loss:
  + 9 pounds  
Maternity clothes? 
Yes. 
Stretch marks? 
Nope.
Sleep: Still sick. Still needing more sleep, but getting better. 
Best moment this week: When the doctor said I could have antibiotics for my sinus infection. Hallelujah! 
Have you told family and friends: Yes.

Movement: Roly Poly, growing stronger.
Food cravings: 
Salty. And chocolate chip cookies.

Anything making you queasy or sick:  not really
Other symptoms: 
Have you started to show yet: Yes. Definite bump in progress.
Gender prediction: Boy? 
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out?
Starting to feel more shallow.

Wedding rings on or off? 
On. 
Happy or Moody most of the time: Moody
Weekly Wisdom: Take your vitamins and wash your hands and get enough sleep. Repeat over and over.
Milestones: finally getting back to work after two weeks of sick. bleh.

Pregnancy Log: 18 Weeks


How far along? 18 weeks, as of New Year's Day
How big is baby? About 7 oz. 
Total weight gain/loss:
  + 9 pounds  
Maternity clothes? 
Yes. 
Stretch marks? 
Nope.
Sleep: We've all been sick this week. Can't get enough sleep!
Best moment this week: It's been a pretty down week. B got sick first, then I did. Now Bean is sick too. Still, there have been some very tender moments through all of the exhaustion. Bean has shown what a compassionate little person she is, saying things like, "I sorry you're not feeling good, Mama." She always warms my heart.
Have you told family and friends: Yes.

Movement: Still a roly poly in there. I feel the most movement in the evening, after dinner and before bed. 
Food cravings: 
Nothing stands out this week. 

Anything making you queasy or sick:  um, the cold virus?
Other symptoms: 
Have you started to show yet: Yes. Definite bump in progress.
Gender prediction: Boy? 
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out? 
Normal. 
Wedding rings on or off? 
On. 
Happy or Moody most of the time: Exhausted.
Weekly Wisdom: Take your vitamins and wash your hands and get enough sleep. Repeat over and over.
Milestones: ha! we bought a station wagon! A late model VW diesel and we love it. we are such parents!
